Scenario
Given: The Sullivan family is new to the Math-U-See program. Sarah Sullivan completed the sixth-grade level using a different curriculum, so the family places her in Math-U-See Pre-Algebra. The Sullivans did not think that manipulatives were appropriate at Sarah’s age, so they were not purchased.
On her first day, Sarah watches the video segment for Lesson 1 alone and completes Lesson Practice 1A and Systematic Review 1D as assigned by her parent. Her parent checks her worksheets and finds that Sarah has not done well. Sarah is instructed to complete Lesson Practice 1B and Systematic Review 1E the next day.
